From 1990 to 2013, Van Dien Fused Phosphate Company cooperated with scientists from the Central Highlands Agro-Forestry Science and Technology Institute to conduct many experiments to research and use Van Dien fertilizer for coffee plants. Coffee, pepper, rubber in the provinces of Kom Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong… gave outstanding results. On red basalt soil, gray soil, the yield of 1kg of P2O5 in Van Dien fused phosphorus gave a bumper harvest of 31.6 – 33kg of green coffee, an increase of 11.2% compared to the control (other phosphate fertilizers). Especially on gray soil, the yield of 1kg of P2O5 in Van Dien fused phosphate fertilizer reached 31.7kg of green coffee, an increase of over 20% compared to other phosphate fertilizers, with pepper and rubber, Van Dien fused phosphate fertilizer. It also gives an increase in profit compared to other phosphate fertilizers from 8 to 15%. 
Especially, since 2010, a series of multi-factorial fertilization (DYT) experiments with Van Dien NPK for coffee, pepper and rubber were also carried out on red basalt and gray soils and gave very good results. different from other types of NPK.
